rainbow dash and the fake sonic stared at one another, anger burned in rainbows eyes as she stared upon the imitation sonic. she looked at the pile of rubble that the fake stood on, closing her eyes briefly

rainbow dash: ill make things right sonic, i promise!

she said as she dashed forward toward the fake.

rainbow dash dashed forward toward the fake and tackled him successfully forcing him to the ground, she turned around to face him and landed on the ground skidding back only a small ways.

Fsonic: hehehe this should be fun...

the fake said as he sped quickly toward rainbow dash and around her creating a large tornado, this, being nothing new to her, compelled her to quickly jump into the air and fly in the opposite direction, once the tornado had ceased, the fake sonic looked up and narrowed his eyes, only for rainbow dash to appear behind him and buck him into more mephiles clones, helping the rest of the team further, rainbow dash quickly followed behind the fake after she had launched it into the army of mini mephiles, she created yet another sonic rainboom smashing through helping the other group even further, only faintly hearing small cheers from her friends as they also fought on. the fake had attempted another spin dash, however rainbow dash quickly reacted before he had a chance, bucking the fake and making it bounce back to her off of a tree, she continued to buck the fake in its ball form vollying it back and forth between herself and the tree until she finally decided to kick the ball upward, satisfied with how much of a beating she gave the faker hedgehog, she then flew upward above the ball and rose up her forelegs, at a blinding speed she forced her hooves down on the fake sonic ball, smacking it down with all her might, putting in as much force as possible, even using her wings to help push the attack and make it more effective, so, with a loud crack, the fake sonic shot down to the ground crashing down with a boom. the momentum of the blow forcing gusts of strong air to crash down moments after the fake had crashed, creating an even bigger crater than before. rainbow dash landed at the very edge of this crater, panting. she looked down to find that the fake sonic, had transformed back into chrysalis, and for a moment, she had begun to think that chrysalis was finished, however chrysalis, with what little life she had, began to stand up to her hooves. rainbow dash got a shocked face and frowned stomping on the ground with her left foreleg.

rainbow dash: youve gotta be kidding me!!!! you just dont know when to give up!!

--music end--

rainbow dash said and chrysalis looked up to her. she was obviously beatn up, she looked up at rainbow dash wearily, her legs barely able to stand her up. one of her eyes had shut from the pain she was in due to the massive blow dealt to her by rainbow dash. however, she still managed to survive the attack, this, bugged rainbow dash.

chrysalis: heh....you really beat the crap out of sonic there didnt you rainbow dash.

chrysalis said and rainbow dash frowned

rainbow dash: what part of you arent sonic do you not understand! i bet sonic couldve taken AT LEAST twenty percent more blows than you ever could!

rainbow dash said and chrysalis laughed, provoking her to cough up some blood.

chrysalis: thats right, sonic can take far more blows than i can.....which...is why his fate....was met by a collapsing castle....hehh..*wheeze*

chrysalis said in her weakned state laughing at rainbow dash's comment. rainbow dash frowned and drew her left forehoof backward kicking up a little bit of dirt.

rainbow dash: that wasnt his fault!
chrysalis: oh? are you still blaming twilight for sonics death?
rainbow dash: no! it wasnt her fault either! if anything. its YOUR fault chrysalis! you and that mobian are the ones who put sonic in there!

rainbow dash said pointing at chrysalis. chrysalis looked at rainbow dash and laughed.

chrysalis: you know.....your right....how silly of me to not take responsibility for my actions....yes....i am responsible......for the death...of the great mobian hero...sonic the hedgehog......chrysalis....the one who brought down sonic.....hehe....that has a nice ring to it......dont you think.

chrysalis said and rainbow dash frowned. meanwhile the rest of the group continued to handle mephiles, using the same methods as before, this time, their numbers actually seemed to deplete. with one final chaos blast, shadow finished off the final bunch of mini mephiles clones. the sonic crew dropped to their hands and knees in fatique, the rest of the group also showing very obvious signs of fatique as well. however it wasnt over, a dark energy began to build up in the sky above them, and morphed into the real mephiles, mephiles slowly floated down in front of the group.

mephiles: my my....you bunch of fighters are mighty persistant arent you.

mephiles said, but no one in the group responded

mephiles: whats the matter? are you tired? feeling a bit dizzy after all that fighting? one could only imagine how much effort it took to take out an entire army.

mephiles said, the group could only glare at him as he spoke.

mephiles: are you all tired? thats good, thats very good. maybe its about time i put you all to sleep, hm?

mephiles began as he reached out a hand.

mephiles: forever.....

-- start fight theme: sand ruins (sonic riders)--
mephiles said s a giant beam shot out of his hand, first toward twilight. with what remaining energy she had, she used her magic to defend herself from the attack, she created a barrier that not only blocked the attack, but deflected it back toward mephiles, who, thinking quickly, jumped out of its way, the attack only grazing him.

mephiles: so i see you arent as tired as i had hoped. perhaps i havent worn any of you out enough.

mephiles said, but in that instant, shadow and pinkie pie rushed in, shadow kicked mephiles toward pinkie pie, who bucked him back toward shadow

shadow: no way! were not letting you do THAT again!
pinkie pie: that was really hard!

shadow and pinkie pie commented as they volleyed mephiles back and forth, at one point, shadow was forced to kick mephiles  sideways away from himself and pinkie, mephiles flipped in the air, but the force of shadows attack was too great, so he hit his back onto a tree and fell on his belly.

shadow: whats wrong mephiles? doesnt feel too good when YOUR outnumbered does it!

shadow said and pinkie pie stood by his side
pinkie pie: haha YEAH! ya big meanie!

pinkie pie and shadow commented, pinkie pie stuck her tongue out at mephiels teasing him and mephiles slowly stood to his feet.

mephiles:...i think...ive had just about enough of this foolishness...

mephiles started as he looked to chrysalis

mephiels: chrysalis...come to me.

he said and chrysalis got wide eyed.

chrysalis: were...going to do this now?? against these--
mephiles: yes, now. ive grown quite weary of this bout. i think its about time we finally finish off these fools once and for all

mephiles said and chrysalis, using her wings flew up to mephiles.  mephiles looked to the group and narrowed his eyes he simply reached out toward chrysalis and his body began to turn into a dark liquid type substance. the liquid spread across chrysalis' body and eventually, she was completely consumed, showing only a dark orb like shape.

knuckles: what?
shadow: dammit what are these idiots doing now!

shadow and knuckles commented. pinkie pie nudged shadow slightly

pinkie pie: heeeey, watch your mouth mister!

she said and shadow simply looked to her then to the black orb, now of which was in the sky.
