sonic and rainbow dash both yelled simotaniously in their respective worlds.

mobius:

sonic looked around and found himself in his bedroom.

sonic:...man...that was strange.....but...it was just a dream....

sonic said to himself as tails walked into the room and turned on the light.

tails: sonic! are you okay? did something happen with the emeralds???

tails asked. sonic looked at him and sighed.

sonic: oh...hey tails....i just had the weirdest dream.......
tails: what was it about??
sonic: well....it started with me...in this...black void place.....i heard a voice...and when i ran  to find out what it was.....turns out it was just....a blue pony.
tails:...a....blue pony?
sonic: yeah...and the weirdest part was....i asked her about the chaos emeralds....because there was a lightning bolt on her rear end..d..do you think its a coincidence that i had that dream? is it supposed to mean something?

sonic asked and tails looked down and laughed a little

tails: it was just a dream sonic. your probably just really worried thats all. i mean...ponies that talk? heh..what did she have wings too?

tails said sort of laughing at the idea. sonic looked down in thought

sonic: come to think of it....yeah...yeah she did..

sonic said and tails looked at him and smiled

tails: dont worry sonic, were gonna take care of the emerald problem tomorrow. just get some rest.

tails said as sonic looked down and sighed

sonic: alright buddy.....goodnight..

sonic said as tails began to walk out the door and turn off the light. tails returned the goodnight and left the room. sonic layed back still thinking about his recent dream.

sonic: (was...it supposed to mean something....)

sonic thought as he fell back to sleep. again...into a dream

sonic looked around the void again and looked around. he seemed to be in the same spot as before, he reached his hand out and the glass wall remained.

equestria:

rainbow dash looked down at her blanket.

rainbow dash: man....that was really strange....since when are hedgehogs blue.....

rainbow said as she shook her head and brushed it off.

rainbow dash: its just a dream. i need to get my rest so i cam help the others tomorrow.

rainbow dash said as she fell asleep. into a dream

dream:

rainbow dash was once again in the dark void. she looked to her side to see, once again, the blue hedgehog that she had met before.

rainbow dash: its you again!

rainbow dash said and sonic looked over to see her

sonic: the pegasus again...

he said to himself as he stood up and looked at her

sonic: hey...
rainbow dash: listen! i dont know what a chaos emerald is or why you need it! but theres an emergency! the elements of harmony have gone missing! do you know anything about that??
sonic: elements....of harmony? ive never heard of such a thing.
rainbow dash: never heard of...but the elements of harmony are something thats been heard of all over equestria!!
sonic: elements of harmony? equestria? what are all these things? ive never heard of them in my life!

sonic said and rainbow dash got a shocked face.

rainbow dash: equestria is the world we live in ya dope! duh!
sonic:..huh? thats ridiculous...we live in a world called mobius!

sonic said and rainbow dash thought to herself.

rainbow dash:......mobius?...(hes never heard of the elements....hes never heard of equestria....he seems to be weirded out by me talking...but.....he acts like hes seen my cutie mark before........theres no mistaking it now! this..mobius. it has to be the world that the elements are trapped in!)

rainbow dash thought as she looked in sonics direction

rainbow dash: listen, i know you dont know what the elements are, but i just want to ask. have you seen these symbols around anywhere??

rainbow dash said as she looked around, then finally, she decided to use her hoof to carve into the glass to draw the symbols of the elements. sonics face got shocked and he looked at them

sonic: those symbols....ive seen two of those.

sonic said pointing to the butterfly and the lightning bolt. rainbow dash smiled excitedly and looked at sonic

rainbow dash: listen! those items, theyre called the elements of harmony, theyre from my world! equestria....what did you say your worlds name was again? mobius??

rainbow dash said and sonic nodded.

sonic: elements of harmony huh....well...for some reason they seem to be trapped in our jewels the chaos emeralds.
rainbow dash: w...whats a chaos emerald?
sonic: a chaos emerald is a special jewel from my world. it gives the user power beyond imagination. we have seven of them

sonic said and rainbow dash looked down for a moment.

rainbow dash: listen, sonics your name right? we need to tell our friends about whats going on, we ca-----

suddenly a buzzing sound entered rainbows ears and she woke up. she frantically looked at her clock and then her eyes widneed

rainbow dash: NO! i didnt get to tell sonic my plan yet! GRR that dream was definately not a coincidence!! i have to tell twilight and the others, right away!

she said as she dashed off from her home.

a bell rang in sonics ears as he woke up. sonic looked around at his room and facepalmed

sonic: crap! what was that pony trying to tell me? elements of harmony? in the chaos emeralds? this is all so messed up and confusing! ive gotta tell tails and knuckles!

sonic said as he left his room to find tails toying with the emerald again.

sonic: tails, put that down. i need to tell you something.
tails: hey sonic, glad your awake. what is it?

tails asked as he looked over at sonic lifting up the goggles he had on.

sonic: that dream i had, it wasnt just a coincidence! that dream was important! that blue pony! she knows something that could help us fix the chaos emeralds!
tails: sonic. i think that the situations gone a bit too far up your head. it had to have been just a dream
sonic: NO! IM SERIOUS! she said something about some sort of elements of harmony from her world, and that they somehow ended up in our world!

sonic said and tails got a confused look

tails: elements of....harmony? well that just sounds ridiculous sonic. and what do you mean her world? the blue pony isnt from mobius?
sonic: no, she said shes from a world called, equestria.
tails: equestria?.........for a dream thats pretty detailed....we have a name, a location...enough to build a full out hypothesis of the problem...but....it still sounds.....iffy...
sonic: she even drew the exact same symbols as the two symbols that are trapped inside the emeralds!
tails: these two?

tails said pulling out the emerald with the butterfly and the emerald with the lightning bolt.

sonic: yeah. she also drew four other symbols, it was a diamond, and apple, a balloon looking thing, and a star like shape.
tails: hm....well we have a butterfly and a lightning bolt.....sonic, we should find the other chaos emeralds, if we do that, then we should be able to decipher whether or not this is a legitimate hypothesis or just another dream.

tails said as placed the emeralds on the table.

rainbow dash had left her home and went to the library in ponyville

rainbow dash: twilight! twilight where are you!
twilight: im over here

twilight said. rainbow dash looked over to find twilight laying in her bed reading another book from the daring doo series. twilight had a concerned face as rainbow dash walked up to her

twilight: rainbow dash? whats wrong? did something happen?
rainbow dash: your reading daring doo at a dime like this?
twilight: actually, i have done a bit of research on the situation. im just taking a small break. what about you, you kinda burst into my home. scared spike half to death

twilight said as she pointed with her hoof at the baby dragon as he poked his head outside his blanket that he hid under.

rainbow dash: i had a dream twilight!

she said putting her hooves on twilights shoulders

rainbow dash: i had a dream and i think it can help us! youve gotta listen to it though okay?
twilight. well just wait. let me round up everypony first and you can tell your story once we go to canterlot. that way you wont have to repeat yourself.

twilight said as she equipped her saddlebag that she had left packed from the previous day. she began out the door motioning rainbow dash to follow her. first they went to pinkie pie, who was happy to follow them. they then went to a farm, commonly known as sweet apple acres. sweet apple acres is a farm where applejack lives, with her family, applebloom, big macintosh, and granny smith. it is where ponyvilles apples are grown and made into delicious treats, the most popular, being their famous, apple cider. twilight walked through the farm toward her friend applejack, who used her strong legs to buck trees and force the apples into buckets.

applejack: hey there twi,rainbow,pinkie pie, fancy seein' yall round here. whats goin on?
twilight: hey applejack, were just rounding up everyone to go back to canterlot. rainbow dash says shes figured out what happened.
applejack: rainbow dash said that? are you sure she knows what shes talkin bout?
rainbow dash: applejack! nows not the time for that! i really think ive got it! just trust me on this okay?

rainbow said as applejack shrugged and looked at her she looked toward her family

applejack: hey ill be right back you guys, ill be headin out for a bit
big macintosh: mm okay
applebloom: where ya goin?
applejack: just on a little trip with my friends nothin special.
applebloom: oh. okay. well be back soon applejack
granny smith: ehh.. what? what she say?
applebloom: applejacks goin on a trip!
granny smith: oh...ehh..make sure ya gots all yer gonna neeed

granny shouted to applejack as she tipped her hat and left with rainbow twilight and pinkie. they then went to the carousel boutique, raritys home. also the place where she works on and sells the different designs that she creates for mares and stallions alike. inside, rarity lay on her bed drawing designs for her next clothing line while opal, her pet cat, rested on a stool with a pillow tied to it. the four ponies walked inside the boutique and went to rarity.

twilight: hey rarity,
rarity: ohh twilight, how nice to see you. you too, applejack, pinkie, rainbow dash. what brings you here?
twilight: rainbow dash thinks shes figured out the problem with the elements, were gathering everypony so that we can go to celestia.
rarity: sounds fine to me, let me go get my things and ill be right with you

rarity said as she put on her saddlebag and left with the group, the then went to fluttershys home and she too left with them to board the train to canterlot. once there the ponies quickly made their way through to the castle where celestia resided. they reached celestias chamber and went through the door where celestia stood looking at them from beside her window.

celestia: girls. i see youve decided to come back today.
twilight: yeah! rainbow dash said that she has something that can help us!
celestia: oh? well rainbow dash what is it?

celestia said and rainbow dash walked up.

rainbow dash: uh..right. well..i had this dream...and in the dream...i talked to a blue hedgehog...and
applejack: why thats gotta be the most ridiculous
celestia: its okay applejack. let her speak. we need everything we can get even if its just speculation.
rainbow dash: right. um. well...i talked to this hedgehog...and he said that he saw two of the elements. he said that he was from a world called mobius..and that its possible that the elements of harmony might be trapped inside these jewels called chaos emeralds.

rainbow dash explained and celestia looked at her

celestia: mobius huh....ive never heard of that realm....ok rainbow dash, you and the other ponies stay right here, ill tell the scientists and unicorns what you said and have them search for a world called mobius.
celestia said, but immediately, the doors to the room locked, the windows and shades closed and candles around the room lit.

???: new plan, how about we...dont..do that

a voice rang in the heads of the ponies as a being appeared before tehm

all: DISCORD!!

discord: aww, how sweet of you to remember me, my chaos must have had a large effect on this realm, such a shame that i had to be defeated by you idiots.

celestia: you! your the one that caused this arent you?
discord: who? me? i dont know what your taking about, all i did is listen in on your little conversation and i must say im quite......intrigued....chaos..emeralds...its sounds like something i could really get my claws on dont you think?
rainbow dash: LISTEN HERE FREAK! give us back the elements!
discord: i already said i dont know what your talking about. im not the one who sent the elements away.
celestia:..y...your not??
discord: of course not, i only got free a few moments ago, however whoever did send them away, i must say im quite grateful, now i dont have to spend an eternity frozen like a stupid statue. now...i can spread chaos in the world!

discord said as his body began to spiral and he disappeared. soon, darkness began to spread over equestria.

sonic and tails retrieved another emerald, which, as predicted, contained one of the symbols sonic explained to tails

sonic: its...a diamond!

sonic said staring into the violet emerald

tails: theres no denying it now...that dream you had was legit!
sonic: we have to find all of the chaos emeralds and fast!

sonic said as he and tails continued their search. their search, first, brought them, to the green forest.

--level music start: adabat day stage jungle joyride--

sonic: okay tails whats that watch on your arm say
tails: it says there should be another chaos emerald somewhere at the center of the green forest. soon however, an orange robot crashed into the ground with a thud and thrust a lance at sonic and tails

sonic: CRAP! an egg pawn!
???: OOHHH HOHOHOHO and where do you think YOUR going, blue hedgehog!
sonic and tails: EGGMAN!
eggman: hehee, im afraid i cant let you get that emerald, here, allow my friends to help you find it

--random commercial break--

eggman said as robots began to fall as if from the sky and land on the ground. sonic and tails dashed away as rockets lit behind each robot as they gave chase. sonic ran as fast as he could, but at the same time he made sure not to leave tails behind. the enemies tried to attack with guns however sonic just dodged to the side using his quick step technique, allowing him to instantly step to the side for a quick dodge. the force of the quick step also allowed him to destroy a robot that was beside him as he accelerated grabbing tails' arm.

tails: were closing in on the emerald
sonic: good, cuz i got an idea!

sonic said as he went faster

tails: there it is!

he said as sonic closed in on the yellow emerald and snatched it coming to a complete stop as the robots dashed past him and all crashed into a tree, or fell to their demise.

sonic: heh..piece of cake. how many is that tails?
tails: four!
sonic: good! were almost done

sonic said, at that moment, a giant robot landed beside them, it had pincers at its front and took the shape of a scorpion, it hovered above the ground

eggman: not on my watch!

eggman said as the cockpit became enclosed in glass and the scorpion robot began to close in on sonic and tails. sonic grabbed onto tails' hand and dashed off again.

equestria:

celestia quickly ran to the door, which to her surprise was open

celestia: okay girls, go, give chase to discord and try to stop him! i know it will be hard without the elements, but you can do it, as a team. all i need you to do now is to distract him from spreading any more chaos around this realm make sure to take spike with you, when i make contact with mobius, i will send you a message and i want you to come here immediately!

celestia said and the girls nodded running out of the castle

twilight: rainbow dash, fluttershy, i need you two to take to the skies and search for discord, he could be anywhere, and try not to be corrupted by his favor, we all need to make sure were strong hearted here.

twilight began

all: right!

rainbow dash and fluttershy quickly took to the skies and very easily found discord. they flew down in front of twilight and the others

fluttershy: hes on his way to manehatten.
rainbow: lets catch up quick before he does anything

rainbow dash said as she blasted off.
