Episode 9: Eggmanland
Act 3

Sally: okay, i want teams to be split up nicely, so twilight, please go to the wall on my left, rarity, please go to the wall on my right. oh, and ive managed to recruit a few more members to the freedom fighters as well. if the four of you would please step forward.

sally began, her words firm and strong. soon, four mobians emitted from the crowd, one male, and three female.

Sally: Michelle, Rose, Saia, and Cinos. is that correct?

sally asked and they all nodded.

Sally: ill split you four up this way, saia and michelle go to twilight, while rose and cinos go to rarity.

Sally said and the four split up heading to their respective groups.

Sally: sonic, if you would please take rarities group, shadow you take twilights group. the rest of you ponies may choose amongst yourselves, as long as the split is nice and even!

sally said, in that instant, pinkie pie and fluttershy went over to twililights side, while rainbow dash and applejack went over to raritys side.

Sally: good, now, hmmmmm i want at least two members of the chaotix in each team, espio and charmy, please go to twilights side, vector and mighty, please go to raritys side.

Sally said, and they all did just that, moving toward their respective groups. with that only knuckles, tails, amy, and blaze were left, blaze, being a violet cat with a purple coat on.

Sally: amy, i know you wont like this, but i do not want you on sonics team, there will be too many distractions, please go to twilights side, same with you tails. knuckles and blaze may go to raritys side.

sally instructed and they did just that.

Sally: im going to stay here with NICOLE to make sure all goes well with the mission, do NOT reveal your presence to ANYONE. if someone spots you, you are to engage and quickly take out the enemy, silently too, do not get spotted by too many people. is that clear?

sally said and they all nodded.

Sally: so here are the teams, Team 1 is: Twilight, Saia, Michelle, Shadow, Pinkie pie, Fluttershy, Espio, Charmy, Amy, and Tails.

Sally said, the team nodded and sally looked to the other side of the room.

Sally: team 2 is: Rarity, Rose, Cinos, Sonic, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Vector, Mighty, Knuckles, and Blaze.

Sally said and the respective team nodded.

Sally: heres the plan,

Sally began pulling out a large blueprint of what seemed like eggmans base.

Sally: This is the blueprints to eggmans main facility, This is where eggman will do all of the dirty stuff that he does on a daily basis, in other words, our target. there are two sections to this building, there is a west wing, and an east wing. Team one, you are to infiltrate the West wing of the facility while Team two is to infiltrate the east wing, sounds simple right? well heres the hard part!

Sally said, as she pulled out another blueprint, this one was made of a far thinner paper and once placed on the first blueprint, it seemed as if the two of them put together were one big map. on the outside of eggmans base were five defensive gates/fences.

Sally: These are the Egg gates. And of course if eggman names something after himself its probably dangerous right? These gates are heavily watched and guarded, and if you arent careful, you will be spotted, so i emphasize do not step into a spotlight, if you do even if you are invisible, the badniks will see your footprints in the ground, try to be as stealthy as you possibly can! once you have made it past the gates, you are to enter the facility using this keycode written on the map.

Sally said pointing out a series of letters and numbers, which actually read "E.G.G.M.A.N.E.M.P.I.R.E.2.3.1.4.2.3.2.3.2"

Sonic: eggbutts really gotta get more creative with his names....

sonic commented and sally narrowed her eyes.

Twilight: wait, if previous missions were unsuccessful, how did you manage to get your hands on the map?

twilight asked and sally sighed.

Sally: remember earlier when i said that a robot was trying to follow mighty into the knothole hideout? well thing was that i sent mighty on a mission to collect some data on eggmans new base, which is how he came across the map, he was followed by a badnik but was saved by a strange hedgehog that refused to give his name. it was really weird...

Sally said and mighty nodded in agreement. sally then looked up, her look of confidence returning to her.

Sally: but, right now that isnt important, Lets send you all off on your mission, Twilight, you and your group have the west wing, Rarity, you and your group have the east wing, you are to go as deep as possible into the base. if you meet at the center and have not found the master emerald, then that should confirm tails' suspicions. is that clear?

All: RIGHT!

--end music--
Sally: well then, your all dismissed! good luck!

Sally said, seeing them all off with a salute. they each left the HQ, team 1 going left, and team 2 going right.
